About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Site Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day operations on our construction site. In this role, you’ll ensure materials, equipment, and personnel move efficiently and safely to keep the project on track.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate Materials: Manage deliveries, storage, and inventory of construction materials. Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Manage Equipment: Oversee equipment deliveries, maintenance, and utilization. Schedule repairs and inspections as needed.
- Plan Site Logistics: Design and maintain an efficient site layout for storage areas, loading zones, and material flow.
- Facilitate Communication: Serve as the point of contact between suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site teams to resolve logistical challenges quickly.
- Ensure Safety: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA standards. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain Documentation: Track and record deliveries, equipment use, and inventory. Prepare reports for project management.
- Collaborate: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and other team members to meet project schedules and goals.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Need
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction site logistics or a similar role required.
- Skills:
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and site operations
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 card required; forklift certification a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to handle a physically active job in a construction environment
