- Schedule: Monday–Friday & some Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Everyone will start on 1st Shift for approximately 1–2 weeks of training before transitioning to 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM.

What You’ll Do as a CNC Machinist:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment in a Tool & Die environment.
- Machine complete parts from engineering drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions while maintaining tight tolerances.
- Write and edit programs manually and use CAD/CAM software to support accurate machining.
- Complete your own machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes.
- Collaborate with the Tool & Die team to improve setup times, machining efficiency, and overall productivity.
- Maintain accurate job tracking and production records using JOB BOSS or manual tracking processes.
- Help train CNC Machinist Trainees and assist with on-the-job training for other team members.
- Follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience and 5+ years in a Tool & Die machine shop.
- HAAS machine experience strongly preferred.
- Manual and CAD/CAM programming skills.
- Ability to complete machine setups independently.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and machining precision parts to tight tolerances.
- Experience operating forklifts or ability to obtain certification
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school certificate, associate degree, CNC certification, or formal machinist apprenticeship preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
