What You’ll Do as a Clothing Press Machine Operator:
- Safely operate utility pressers, steamers, and specialized finishing equipment to smooth and shape various fabric types to quality standards.
- Perform detailed garment finishing tasks, including steaming, folding, and inspecting items for flawless presentation.
- Sort, prepare, and manage clothing through various stages of the dry cleaning and laundering process.
- Learn by watching others accurately process basic cash transactions for customers dropping off or picking up laundry services.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and well-organized workspace, keeping equipment and stations clean.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Strong attention to detail with pride in quality control and customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine manual handling and lifting safely.
- Basic math skills
- Solid reliability, good communication skills, and a positive team attitude.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel laundry, or garment care is a plus, but willingness to learn via paid shadowing is fully supported!
