CNC Lathe Operator

Overview

  • Operate CNC lathe machines to produce metal components according to specifications.
  • Set up machines, load materials, and make basic machine adjustments.
  • Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and measurements.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
  • Monitor machine operation and maintain production quality.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.

  • CNC lathe operation
  • Blueprint and measurement reading
  • Use of calipers and micrometers
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic mechanical and math skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Previous CNC lathe or machining experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical measurements.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials.
