We are hiring an Entry-Level Assembly Engineer for an automotive manufacturing company in the Huntsville area.
Although this is an entry-level engineering position, candidates should have approximately 2–3 years of hands-on experience in assembly, wiring, welding, fabrication, or a related manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support assembly and fabrication operations
- Perform mechanical assembly and wiring
- Assist with MIG and TIG welding processes
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
- Troubleshoot assembly and fabrication issues
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Ensure work meets established quality and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement within the manufacturing process
Requirements
- 2–3 years of assembly, wiring, welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and understand 2D drawings is required
- Experience or familiarity with MIG and TIG welding
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
