What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose issues with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motor controls, and automated equipment
- Support machine changeovers, mold setups, adjustments, and production equipment repairs
- Maintain auxiliary equipment such as compressors, dryers, chillers, and hydraulic systems
- Perform basic facility repairs and operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic meters, and basic shop equipment
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately
- Follow LOTO, OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Work independently, assist with training, and support other duties as needed
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or high-volume production
- Plastics or injection molding experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and three-phase motor controls
- Experience with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment (Must provide your own hand tools)
- Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma/GED required; technical training or degree preferred
