What You’ll Do as a Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator:
- Locate and pick merchandise using picking documents and a voice pick system
- Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Work both on and off of forklifts as needed
- Properly stage, check, package, and consolidate merchandise
- Pick and prepare daily orders in both the bulk and stockless departments
- Lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.; use team lifts for heavier items
- Assist with stockless transfers and loading as needed
- Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged products, and equipment issues to a supervisor
- Complete required paperwork accurately and according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow customer-specific instructions for palletizing and labeling merchandise
- Work as part of a team to maintain a positive and productive warehouse environment
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous Forklift, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker experience preferred—but we’re willing to train the right candidate
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus
- Willingness to work both on and off of forklifts as needed
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment or learn through training
- Basic math skills
- Strong attendance and dependable work habits
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, and push carts throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and participate in team lifts for heavier items
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
