Facilities Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a collaborative problem-solver who excels at plumbing, electrical, high-quality drywall, painting, fixing luggage carts, and HVAC.

What You'll Do as a Facilities Maintenance Technician:
  • Fix plumbing, electrical, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and mechanical issues in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Follow scheduled checklists to inspect and maintain hotel assets like lighting, locks, and pool chemicals.
  • Guest Service: Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests reported by guests or the front desk.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA rules, report safety hazards, and maintain a clean workspace.

Skills and Experience

What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
  • Experience: Usually requires 1 year of general maintenance or building repair experience; hotel experience is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic skills in carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long shifts, climb ladders, and lift or push heavy objects (often up to 50lbs with a team lift).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
