Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our hotel team as Housekeeping & Laundry Attendants. This position is responsible for maintaining clean and comfortable guest rooms and hotel areas while also assisting with daily laundry operations.
Job Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds and replace sheets and linens
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust furniture and other surfaces
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock towels, toiletries, and guest room supplies
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways and common areas as needed
Laundry Duties:
- Collect and sort dirty towels, sheets, and other hotel linens
- Load and operate commercial washers and dryers
- Properly use laundry detergents and cleaning products
- Fold and organize clean towels and linens
- Stock clean linens for housekeeping staff
- Inspect linens for stains or damage
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe
Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift approximately 25–50 lbs as needed
- Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
