Overview

Tool Administrator. The Tool Administrator is responsible for the control, maintenance, organization, and availability of tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role supports production efficiency by ensuring tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and related equipment are properly maintained, tracked, inspected, and available to meet production requirements. The Tool Administrator works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Tool & Die, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tooling administration, tool room operations, manufacturing, or a related technical role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Experience managing inventory and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tooling documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
