Overview
The Forklift Operator / Order Picker is responsible for safely operating forklifts and material handling equipment to move, store, stage, and retrieve products within the warehouse. This position supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift certification and operating experience.
- Experience operating order pickers, reach trucks, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
