SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
This Warehouse Associate II- Day Operations position encompasses the following job positions:
Receiver/Put away-The Receiver/Case Put away position is responsible for scheduling, unloading, separation of and receiving of goods, and the timely, accurate, and safe put away of case goods by following the implemented standard operating procedures
Inventory Clerk-This position is responsible for counting and verifying the accuracy of inventory at various locations within the organization and matching the results with inventory records. Incumbents are responsible for investigating and resolving variance by locating product, isolating errors in records or recommending process adjustments.
Returns-The Returns position is responsible for the receipt of merchandise from customers, ascertaining the credit due, and appropriately dispositioning goods for return to stock, return to vendor or hold for dating.
Skills and Experience
Receiver/Case Put away
- Unload trucks/separate freight
- Verify identity and quantity of items received against purchase order for proper shipment
- Inspect and count received items to detect shortages, overages, damages and/or any other obvious defect
- Note discrepancies/damages for reporting
- Expedite received items to appropriate area for staging/stocking
- Operate equipment (forklift, power/manual pallet jack, carts) to unload, move or store materials
- Use the forklift equipment to store/retrieve merchandise and use of the computer to scan / check merchandise to shelves.

- Lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Carrying up to 70 lbs.
- Pushing up to 150 lbs.
- Pulling up to 150 lbs.
- Climbing step stools/ladders and getting on forklift
- Stooping to separate freight and put boxes on pallets
- Kneeling to separate freight and put boxes on pallets
- Crouching to separate freight and put boxes on pallets
- Reaching to unload freight, attaching labels, separating freight
