What you'll do as: Manual Machinist
- Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, and related equipment
- Machine parts from engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform turning, milling, drilling, tapping, boring, and reaming operations
- Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Previous experience as a Manual Machinist or equivalent machining experience
- Ability to independently set up and operate manual mills and lathes
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tolerances, and measurements
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
