What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator | Pourline:
- Operate two polyurethane foam production lines.
- Set up, start, and shut down machinery for production runs.
- Monitor machines and production settings to make sure everything is running correctly.
- Inspect foam for defects and make adjustments when needed.
- Measure foam using a tape measure and record dimensions accurately.
- Create and apply accurate labels to finished foam products.
- Operate a forklift to safely move scrap foam around the plant.
- Monitor required safety equipment, including the TDI gas monitor.
- Follow detailed work instructions and all safety and quality procedures.
- Cross-train on additional equipment and production processes.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Machine operation experience required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and use a tape measure
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong safety and quality awareness
- Ability to identify and report production issues
- Reliable work history and attendance
- Willingness to cross-train on equipment
- Must be able to lift and handle materials as needed
