What you will do as a Machine Operator | Peeler:
- Operate and assist with the day-to-day production of automotive foam products.
- Load and unload materials properly to keep machines running efficiently.
- Monitor production, scrap, and machine downtime and report issues to the supervisor.
- Inspect products for defects and communicate quality concerns.
- Work closely with the Servicer and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Handle foam carefully to prevent damage and reduce waste.
- Use a tape measure and understand basic measurements and increments.
- Help with inventory tasks when needed.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures while meeting department goals.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Manufacturing/production experience preferred
- Ability to operate machinery and follow instructions
- Basic measuring skills using a tape measure
- Strong safety and quality awareness
- Ability to identify and report production issues
- Reliable work history and attendance
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to cross-train and work as part of a team
