What You'll Do as a Warehouse Line Sorter:
- Sort incoming materials from a moving conveyor line into designated categories, including cardboard, plastics, foam, glass, electronics, paper, and textiles
- Identify, collect, and safeguard high-value merchandise according to company procedures
- Help prevent material cross-contamination and keep work areas organized
- Unpack boxes weighing approximately 5–20 lbs
- Build stable pallets up to approximately 5–6 feet high
- Break down oversized pallets and separate recyclable materials from general waste
- Work with your team to keep materials moving safely and efficiently
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate
- Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hour shifts
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive lifting
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and handle heavier materials using team lifting or equipment when needed
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
- Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots required upon start (ask about our discount options)
