Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Forklift Operator to join a manufacturing and warehouse team in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and products.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Stage materials and products for production and shipment.
- Inspect and organize inventory as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed.
Skills and Experience
Must have a valid forklift certification.
Must be able to pass a written forklift assessment.
Previous forklift operating experience required.
Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attendance and reliability.
Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
