Overview
The Stand-Up Forklift Operator will also be responsible for completing daily equipment inspections, reporting any safety or maintenance concerns, and following all company safety policies and procedures. When forklift operation is not required, the employee may assist with general warehouse duties such as palletizing, wrapping pallets, scanning products, organizing inventory, picking orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Skills and Experience
- 6 months to 1 year of recent stand-up forklift or reach truck experience preferred
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Ability to safely operate a stand-up forklift in narrow aisles and around warehouse traffic
- Experience loading, unloading, staging, and moving palletized materials
- Ability to retrieve and place products in warehouse rack locations
- Familiarity with inventory, scanning, order picking, and material handling
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform general warehouse duties as needed
