Job Description
Looking for a stable, long-term career opportunity? We’re hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate for a Direct Hire position with an established company in Pineville, LA. This means you’ll be hired directly by the company from day one!
This is a hands-on warehouse role with some customer interaction. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Skills and Experience
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory
- Verify shipping documents, part numbers, and quantities
- Stock and organize warehouse materials
- Pull, prepare, and load customer orders
- Safely operate a forklift to move inventory
- Assist customers at the sales counter as needed
- Answer phones and provide professional customer service
- Use basic computer systems and internal software
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required
- Warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday
- Comfortable with a physically demanding position
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Must be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Steel-toe boots/shoes required
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
