Overview
Do you bring 2 or more years of experience operating machines to the table? We are searching for teammates on our 1st and 2nd shift who are able to set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to manufacture parts, products, or materials according to specifications. This role ensures equipment runs efficiently, safely, and produces output that meets quality standards.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate machinery
- Load raw materials or components into machines and monitor the production process
- Inspect finished products for defects and measure output against quality standards using tools like calipers, micrometers, or gauges
- Adjust machine settings to correct issues or improve performance
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment
- Monitor gauges, dials, and control panels to detect malfunctions
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and defects
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience operating industrial machinery
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read work orders/blueprints
