Onin Staffing is currently seeking a Dispatcher to join the Service Team. This position provides an opportunity to work with a growing team while dispatching service tickets and providing administrative and operational support.
We are looking for self-motivated, reliable, and organized individuals who can work independently, communicate confidently with technicians, and find solutions to get the job done.
Schedule Options
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Temporary 3-Month Shifts:
- Dispatcher/Bridge: Sunday–Thursday, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Dispatchers/Bridge: Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Dispatchers: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Dispatch/Bridge: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Skills and Experience
What You'll Do
- Maintain an updated, organized, and fast-paced schedule.
- Contact technicians and confidently dispatch them to jobs.
- Dispatch service tickets to available technicians nationwide.
- Provide necessary documentation for service tickets.
- Track COIs.
- Manage deliverables for completed jobs.
- Create BISs for billing.
- Assist the Project Manager with daily operational tasks.
- Provide administrative and logistical project support.
- Create and maintain project files.
- Assist with project scheduling and billing.
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism with customers, coworkers, and technicians.
- Adhere to all required project safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable communicating by phone with peers and technicians.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Proficient with computers, including email, spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and switch between tasks efficiently.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
- Network troubleshooting, Cat-5 cabling, or fiber knowledge is a plus.
- Industry experience with large single-site operations in the electrical field is preferred
