Overview
We are currently seeking Night Shift Shelf Line Machine Operators in the Eclectic, AL area.
Shift Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
The Shelf line Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production line equipment to ensure the manufacture, cutting, or packaging of products meet specified size and quality standards. This role includes loading materials, tracking production measurements, resolving minor jams, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and initiate production line machinery
- Load raw materials into the system
- Monitor the line for jams or slowdowns
- Inspect products for proper size and quality
- Make minor adjustments to speed or tools as needed
- Remove defective parts and manage waste efficiently
- Record daily production counts and maintain logs
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to following all safety protocols and workplace guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety standards
