Experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Administrator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Administrator to manage day-to-day office functions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting and administrative procedures, which include but are not limited to recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, processing accounts payable and receivable, handling administrative duties, and managing a wide range of accounting tasks beyond basic data entry.

Location: Florence, AL
Pay: $20/hr.+ DOE
Hours: 8am-5pm M-F/1 hr. lunch

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
  • Transaction Recording: Accurately record all financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses using QuickBooks Pro 2024.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare month-end and year-end closing reporting, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow analysis for ownership.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements with accounting records to verify accuracy.
  • Fixed Asset Tracking: Record ad track fixed assets such as equipment.
  • Office Administration: Serve as the central hub for daily office routines, vendor management, office supply inventory, file organization, and incoming correspondence and basic office maintenance.

Skills and Experience

  • Associate's degree (Preferred but not required) 
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro 2024)
  •  Understanding of basic accounting principles with the ability to apply them to our systems 
  • Experience working with multiple bank accounts 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resole discrepancies 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Strong organization and time management skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines 
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability
  • Background Check and Credit Check required
