What You'll Do as an Embroidery Lead:
  • Lead daily production activities and help ensure orders are completed on schedule
  • Plan and organize daily workflow for the embroidery department
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize work accordingly
  • Review and approve first-piece samples using established quality procedures
  • Perform quality checks on completed orders for accuracy and workmanship
  • Communicate completed order information through email and update production software
  • Operate multi 6-head and single-head embroidery machines
  • Operate laser cutting equipment
  • Load and adjust artwork using embroidery software
  • Hoop, trim, and finish embroidered products
  • Apply heat-seal waterproofing when required
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of embroidery supplies and consumables
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow and enforce company policies and safety procedures
  • Cross-train in other production areas as business needs require

Skills and Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
  • Experience operating commercial embroidery machines (Barudan preferred)
  • Familiarity with Wilcom, Jamieson Laser, or similar embroidery software
  • Experience with laser cutting equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of embroidery production techniques and backing materials
  • Ability to troubleshoot embroidery machine issues (thread breaks, tension, looping, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Able to work independently while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs., and distinguish colors accurately
  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse/manufacturing environment
