Overview
We are seeking an experienced Yard Dog (Yard Jockey) Operator to safely move trailers throughout the yard while supporting shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
Skills and Experience
- Previous Yard Dog/Yard Jockey experience required
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Experience safely moving and positioning trailers in a busy yard
- Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Skills
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to maneuver trailers in tight spaces
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Steel-toe boots required
