Overview
The General Laborer is responsible for assisting with the handling, loading, unloading, and movement of building materials throughout the warehouse or yard. This position supports daily operations by maintaining a safe, organized work environment and ensuring materials are prepared for customer orders and deliveries.
Skills and Experience
Load and unload lumber, building materials, and other products. Assist with pulling, staging, and preparing customer orders. Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse or yard locations. Operate hand tools and equipment safely (training provided as needed). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Inspect materials for damage and report any issues. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
