Overview
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials, products, tools, and equipment throughout the warehouse. You will play a vital role in supporting inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving operations while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
PEAK SEASON PAY BOOST: Earn an extra +$2.25/hr from Nov 2 – Dec 27 (Total Pay: $19.25 – $20.50 / hour)
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Seasonal available
Skills and Experience
- Receive, store, move, and distribute materials throughout the warehouse.
- Read production schedules, customer, shipping, and work orders to determine materials to be moved.
- Load and unload products from trailers, delivery vehicles, and storage locations.
- Transport materials from receiving areas to storage, production, or shipping locations.
- Pick, sort, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to product codes and designated locations.
- Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including overtime and weekends as needed.
