Metal Finishing & Deburring

Grind, deburr, sand, brush, blend, and polish fabricated metal parts
Produce consistent finishes to customer specs
Remove weld discoloration, scratches, burrs, and surface imperfections
Read blueprints, travelers, and work instructions
Inspect finished parts for cosmetic, dimensional, and quality standards
Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment safely
Select appropriate abrasives, pads, and compounds by material/finish type
Verify work with calipers, tape measures, squares, and finish samples

High school diploma or GED

Manufacturing/metal fabrication experience preferred

Experience with stainless steel finishing, polishing, grinding, or deburring preferred

Blueprint-reading ability

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Safe use of hand/power tools

Basic math and measurement skills
