Overview
Pay: $75,000–$120,000/year
The Controls Engineer designs, programs, and maintains automation systems that support manufacturing operations. This position focuses on improving equipment performance, troubleshooting control systems, and implementing process improvements to maximize efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMI systems
- Support automation and controls projects
- Optimize manufacturing equipment performance
- Perform system upgrades and process improvements
- Troubleshoot electrical control systems
- Develop documentation for control systems
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred
