Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our afternoon/evening team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty sewing machines to manufacture high-quality, durable hospital pillows. Your work will directly support healthcare workers and patients who rely on our products daily.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single or double needle) to assemble hospital pillows.
- Guide fabric and materials through the machine accurately to ensure strong, clean seams.
- Inspect raw materials and finished pillows to meet strict medical-grade quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality.
Skills and Experience
Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to read production orders.
Physical Stamina: Ability to sit or stand for long periods, perform repetitive hand/arm movements, and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 20 lbs].
Reliability: Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic for the PM shift. 3:00PM - 11:30PM Monday-Friday with opportunity for OT.
