Overview
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers efficiently.
- Transport materials to designated production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Stack pallets and products accurately while maintaining inventory organization.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
- Follow work orders and warehouse procedures to meet production and shipping schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).
- Basic warehouse and inventory experience.
- Ability to read work orders and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
