Onin Staffing is hiring dependable and hardworking Night Sanitation Crew members in Greencastle, PA. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, work areas, and the facility to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.
Skills and Experience
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and workstations.
- Wash floors, walls, drains, conveyors, and other food processing areas.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment according to company procedures.
- Remove trash, debris, and waste from production areas.
- Follow all food safety, OSHA, GMP, and sanitation guidelines.
- Complete sanitation logs and required documentation accurately.
- Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure sanitation standards are met before production begins.
- Report equipment damage or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
- Perform additional cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous sanitation, janitorial, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and wearing required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
