What You'll Do as a Production Worker:
- Follow SOPs, safety rules, and proper PPE requirements at all times
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the plant using hand trucks or mechanical means
- Load/unload materials and stage products for production or storage
- Pack, stack, and prepare finished goods for next steps in the process
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe (housekeeping is key)
- Support light equipment maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and adjustments
- Participate in cross-training across multiple production roles
- Attend safety meetings and follow all plant safety protocols
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Ability to lift, push, carry, and move up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier items)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/oral instructions
- Basic math and counting skills for order accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full 40-hour week
