**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE STICK WELDING ON GALVANIZED STEEL. WELD MUST PASS VISUAL**
- $20.00+ hourly depending on experience

What You'll Do: Top Tube Support Welder/Stick
- Perform Stick (SMAW) welding on top tube supports and structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, fitting, and positioning components
- Inspect completed welds for defects and conformance to quality specifications
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment of assemblies
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Previous experience with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/Stick)
- Knowledge of welding procedures, fabrication processes, and quality standards
- Experience working with carbon steel and structural steel components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years in industrial painting
- Experience with large industrial equipment
- Knowledge of industrial coating systems
- Attention to detail
- OSHA safety standards familiarity
