What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Production Teammate:
- Assembly & Finishing: Construct parts using blueprints, hand tools, glue, or specialized equipment (laser engravers, routers, benders, or brazing/soldering). Perform deburring, filing, and grinding to prepare parts.
- Machine & Saw Operation: Safely operate metal-cutting saws, fiberglass pullers, unwinders, and related equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Material Handling & Inventory: Pull, verify, and stage materials for production work orders. Perform cycle counts, monitor consumables, use counting scales, and update inventory systems.
- Quality & Packaging: Use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions, inspect finished components, and accurately package parts for inventory control or shipping.
- Work Environment & Lifting: Work safely in a shop environment (dust, grease, metal shavings) requiring continuous standing, vigilance, and physical lifting/carrying of up to 50+ lbs.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, along with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Core Skills: Ability to read/comprehend technical specifications, attention to detail, strong safety mindset, and willingness to learn multi-tasking skills like basic brazing or soldering.
