Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Reach Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. You will operate stand-up reach trucks to accurately transport, stock, and retrieve palletized materials. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in high-traffic distribution environments.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate stand-up reach trucks and other material handling equipment in narrow aisles and elevated racks.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders based on pick tickets and shipping schedules.
- Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners to track, locate, and verify materials, ensuring high inventory accuracy.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload inbound/outbound freight trucks quickly and securely.
- Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily equipment inspections, report malfunctions, and strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience operating stand-up reach trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Certification: Valid Reach Truck / Forklift Operator certification
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Warehouse Management and RF scanning technology.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varied temperature zones (if applicable to your facility).
