Overview
Onin Staffing is currently looking for General Laborers to safely handle lumber products and ensure materials meet customer and company quality standards. Responsibilities include:
Moving, stacking, labeling, tagging, banding, and securing lumber products; maintaining inventory and production records; operating equipment; loading and unloading materials; and keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist in various production areas as needed.
Hours/Pay
- 1st shift hours during summer months: 5:00am-1:30pm M-Fri.
- 1st shift hours after Labor Day: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F.
- 1st shift Pay: $13.50/hr.
- 2nd shift hours: 4:00pm-2:30am M-Thurs.
- 2nd shift Pay: $15.00/hr. - $1.50 shift differential
- If OT is required it is Mandatory! Start and end times are subject to change.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- No prior experience is required; manufacturing or lumber industry experience is a plus.
- Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, dusty, muddy, and outdoor environments.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Composite or Steel Toe Boot/Shoe Required
- Strict Attendance Policy Adherence Required
- You must have reliable transportation
