Overview
Ōnin Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Associate to become a Teammate in the day-to-day operations of a local auto parts distribution center. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products and meet daily performance targets. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented team players who take pride in their work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Available Shifts
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Overtime (OT):Additional 2 hours Monday-Friday and 8-hour shifts on Saturday (as needed).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process inbound shipments, comparing quantities shown on packing slips to items received.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment in accordance with quality and accuracy standards.
- Enter shipments and goods received into the computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and generate shipping tickets.
- Pull and push pallets to stage products for receiving or shipping.
- Organize, stock, and put away products in designated locations using overhead reaching and twisting.
- Must be willing to learn and operate equipment such as an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) and a cherry picker once trained on the job.
- Operate other warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
- Perform regular cycle counts and participate in period-end physical inventory audits.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain the work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition, reporting any discrepancies, damaged goods, or hazards to management promptly.
- Committed to cultivating a safety-first culture by executing all duties in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate!
- General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Basic math and reading skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and input data into a computer system.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and ability to multi-task.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a helpful disposition.
- Ability to work any assigned shift, including days, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours) in a warehouse environment.
- Physical strength to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull products up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.
- Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations, and be able to access all areas of the building without limitations.
