Forklift Operator/Cherry Picker

Shift 

  • 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 5:00am-1:30 pm 

  • 2nd shift Monday - Frday 3:30pm-12:00am

  • OT Saturday 8am-4pm
    Core Responsibilities


  • Order Fulfillment: Safely operate a motorized stock picker to navigate narrow aisles and elevate yourself to upper-level racking to pull specific auto parts for dealer, warehouse, or customer orders. [1, 2]

  • Inventory Management: Use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners or tablet devices to accurately log product relocations, complete cycle counts, and verify parts. [1, 2]

  • Stock Replenishment: Transport automotive parts and pallets from receiving docks to high storage locations, or drop bulk stock down to lower, floor-level pick slots. [1, 2, 3]

  • Staging and Shipping: Wrap and label picked orders, transport them to designated staging areas, and occasionally assist with loading or unloading trucks. [1, 2]

  • Safety & Compliance: Inspect the cherry picker daily, properly utilize safety harnesses/tethers, and maintain OSHA and company safety standards at all times.

  • Experience: Usually 6 to 12 months of prior warehouse or cherry picker experience.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and manually lift or move auto components weighing up to 35-50 lbs. comfortable with reaching elevated heights 15+ ft

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read pick tickets and match part numbers.
