Overview
Seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating stand-up forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment.
Skills and Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials.
- Pick and replenish inventory according to production and shipping schedules.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
