Maintenance Technician

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment 
  •  Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs 
  •  Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime 
  •  Conduct inspections of systems, equipment, and facilities 
  •  Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation 
  •  Install, assemble, and test new equipment as needed 
  •  Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies 
  •  Work with production/management teams to support operations 

Qualifications:

  •  2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment 
  •  High school diploma or GED (technical certification preferred)  
  •  Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals 
  •  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
  •  Ability to work independently and in a team environment 




Skills and Experience

  • Physical Requirements:
    •  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
    •  Stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods 
    •  Work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise) 
  • Work Environment:
    •  Manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting 
    •  May require overtime, weekends, or on-call availability
