What You’ll Do as a CNC Machinist:
- Operate and maintain CNC milling and machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing instructions
- Perform machine setups, adjustments, and basic programming modifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and specification compliance
- Monitor production output and document production metrics
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, or equipment issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet daily production goals
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous CNC machining and/or machine operating experience required
- Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain preferred
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and precision measuring tools
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as production needs require
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
