Location: Lubbock, TX
Pay: $15.50
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, OT required
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Forklift Operator for a cotton seed housing facility. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and assisting with the movement, filling, and emptying of cotton seed bins throughout the facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and following all safety procedures.
Job Duties:
- Operate forklifts safely to move cotton seed, pallets, and materials throughout the facility
- Fill, empty, and monitor storage bins
- Clean bins, work areas, and equipment to maintain facility cleanliness and safety
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Perform general labor duties around the facility as assigned
- Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report maintenance concerns
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures
- Work effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain production flow
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to work in dusty, hot, or outdoor conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety and reliability
- Good attendance and teamwork skills required
