Overview
As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping the hotel property safe, functional, and visually appealing. This position balances hands-on technical work—like preventative maintenance and quick-response repairs—with exceptional guest service. You will be a key player in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Expert Repairs: Conduct regular inspections to identify defects. Skillfully diagnose and repair issues across all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical spaces (covering light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems).
- Preventative Maintenance & Projects: Execute routine preventative maintenance to keep building systems running smoothly. Assist with maintenance tasks for new construction or facility upgrades as assigned.
- Guest Service & Response: Respond promptly and courteous to maintenance service calls and guest complaints, maintaining a high standard of workmanship to uphold the hotel’s reputation.
- Safety, Compliance & Documentation: Strictly follow safety protocols and adhere to all local, state, and federal building codes. Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Education & Experience:
- 1-year certificate from a college or technical school; OR 3 to 6 months of related maintenance experience and/or training; OR an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Strength: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 75 pounds.
- Mobility: Comfort with physical activity including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or stairs throughout the shift.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work outdoors as necessary in various weather conditions to maintain the property exterior.
- Dress code/PPE requirements: Dark gray pants and a light gray polo shirt or button up shirt
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Up-to-Date Resume required
