Overview
Ōnin Staffing is seeking an Upholsterer to join a manufacturing team responsible for upholstering task seating, sofas, and loveseats according to design specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various materials, and safely operate hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment.
Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
• Upholster furniture using fabric, leather, and vinyl materials
• Read and follow work orders and design specifications
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Meet production and efficiency goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Lift and move materials up to 50–70 lbs as needed
Skills Needed:
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow instructions/work orders
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Safety-minded and dependable
Experience Needed:
• Upholstery experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience with furniture assembly, upholstery, sewing, or related work is a plus
