What you will be doing as a Room Attendant / Housekeeping:
- Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for hotel guests
- Cleaning guest rooms to hotel brand standards
- Refreshing occupied rooms and preparing vacant rooms for new guests
- Changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Restocking towels, toiletries, and room supplies
- Assisting with public area cleaning as needed
- Responding to guest requests with professionalism and hospitality
- Supporting other hotel areas such as laundry when needed
- Following safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Positive attitude and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Comfortable with repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stretch, and move continuously during shifts
- Professional communication skills with guests and teammates
Schedule Details:
- Part-time position
- Most teammates work 3–4 days per week
- Additional days may be available during busy periods or staffing shortages
- Shifts are typically 4–5 hours but may run longer depending on hotel occupancy
- No guaranteed weekly hours or set schedule
- No overtime available
- Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and varying schedules
