What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment during production runs
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
- Perform basic machine adjustments and support equipment setup
- Use hand tools to assist with production and maintenance tasks
- Enter and review production information using a computer system
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work with team members to keep production goals on schedule
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32 inch accuracy
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Comfortable using computers and production systems
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety guidelines
- Experience using hand tools such as Allen wrenches, open-end wrenches, grinders, and reciprocating saws
- Ability to stand for a full 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
