Service & Repair Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Maintain reliable attendance
Read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, and schematics
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and cutting torches safely
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshoot and resolve installation or repair issues
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to meet production goals
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in heavy-duty truck/trailer industry preferred
Automotive repair experience is a plus
Ability to operate various tools and machinery
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with customers and assist with service orders as needed
Work Environment
Manufacturing/industrial setting
Exposure to vibration, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise
Non-climate controlled environment (heat/humidity possible)
Occasional work in elevated or high areas
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)
Frequent use of hands for tools and equipment
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb
Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
