Overview
The Assembler is responsible for assembling trucking component products in a variety of production areas. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Skills and Experience
Essential Functions
Perform assembly and subassembly processes using hand tools, electronic tools, and pneumatic equipment
Inspect materials and report any defects or concerns to the supervisor
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow manufacturing schedules and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Qualifications / Competencies
Technical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)
Frequent use of hands for handling tools and materials
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment)
Work Environment
Manufacturing/production setting
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment
Must follow all safety guidelines and procedures
