Overview
• Has strong impact in day-to-day operation at Corporate Technology Center prototype services team.
o Drives for excellence in providing 3D printing service to internal customers with speed, quality and reliability.
o Strives to follow Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for process and tolerance control.
• Performs the set-up, changeover, and efficient flow of materials of all process steps involved in AM manufacturing and post processing with minimal supervision.
• Performs activities involved in AM related machine and chemical process control as per approved procedures/work instructions.
• Resolves complex situations, issues, and tasks under senior team members and engineers.
• Frequently interacts with internal customer to understand design objective, acceptance requirement, and timeline.
• Maintains and adheres to all appropriate specifications, EH&S, and customer requirements.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing operations experience.
• High School diploma or related local equivalent required.
• Must have the ability to learn new additive manufacturing technologies.
• Has familiarity with using CAD software. (Spaceclaim preferred)
• Demonstrates basic knowledge and understanding additive and traditional manufacturing processes (set-up and change-over, efficient flow of materials, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Familiarity with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PPT, & Outlook).
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
